Snapcase "End Transmission"

Snapcase released their new album “End Transmission” on September 24, 2002. “End Transmission” is defiantly one of their best albums to date. It is emo/hardcore but has more catchy and melodic guitar riffs in songs such as “cadence” which even has a piano playing for a little bit in the beginning of the song, adding a beautiful touch to that song; getting the listener in a mellow mood and then hitting them with the hardcore aggressiveness of Snapcase later in the song.

Snapcase is well known for their hardcore heavy guitar riffs and vocals that are chilling and intense like “The Beat,” it is nice to hear Snapcase tone it down a bit and not be afraid to write and perform mellow songs. The mellowest song on the album is “Ten A.M,” it is one of the melodious tracks the band has ever put out, and shows that the band has grown up and has branched out making their hardcore music appeal to new fans without disappointing their old fans. Snapcase’s new album is defiantly worth picking up for any hardcore fan and even for some of the average modern rockers looking for music with more edge and picking up Snapcase’s new album would defiantly be well worth the fifteen bucks. Be sure to catch Snapcase on their tour with Boy Sets Fire and Atreyu until the end of October. For tour dates and to order the album “End Transmission” go to www.snapcase.com.
