The Blueprint

Somewhere between hardcore and modern rock The Blueprint emerges. Being comprised of members new and old from Earthtone 9, Consumed, and Pitchshifter all meshing together having a new sound, offering something special to their fans. “Zero-zero-one” is The Blueprint’s very first “mini-album” Their sound is a mix between hardcore and modern rock guitar riffs with a hint of punk, the vocals are also a mixture of intense hardcore and clean melodic rock.

Starting off the album is "minus 10," this song has a very catchy, but yet heavy hitting guitar riffs. Next up is "Consafos," which reminds me of a less punky Boy Sets Fire ( if you must compare them to another band).  The last song on the EP is "Out Of The Black," which has more hardcore vocals in it and melodic guitar riffs. This album is a must have for all former followers of Pitchshifter and Earthtone 9, and gives a good taste for what is to come from this band. The Blueprint are going to dish out another EP sometime in 2003 be sure to check it out and to pick up a copy of "Zero-zero-one!"
